One specific case involved a home in Woodlands the damage for which ‘‘will probably exceed $130,000 in the end,’’ he said. ‘‘Damages were due to vandalism, mainly because of a single large fire loss at _ Braemar School. This inci- dent accounts for over $250,000 of our loss for the year,’” he said. A total of $294,246 worth of property damage by fire was recorded by North Vancouver city last year, the lowest it has been since 1971, according to the annual report to city council by Fire Chief R.J.
