Hudson steam train has not

He says the Royal Hudson
does not join a patrol until it
reaches Horseshoe Bay, and
this he says could be
“hazardous to the public”.

In West Van, “all sorts of
things end up on the tracks,”
he says.

Without a patrolman
running in front of the train,

he says, the train would have .

no warning about objects on
the rails or rail faults and
could be derailed.

He is especially concerned
about a wooden trestle in
West Van, on which a
woman was killed last year.

“Without a patrolman this
could happen again,” he
said.
