Inaugural meetings
held at local councils

ALL THREE North Shore
councils will hold inaugural
meetings Monday.

The City of North Van-
couver and West Vancouver
held elections Nov. 16 but
the District of North Van-
couver is on a_ biennial
system and will net have an
election until the fall of
1986.

Council business at North
Van City and West Van-
couver is completely taken
up by inauguration pro-
cedures and the reading of

provisional budgets for
1986. North Van's meeting
begins at 7:30 while West
Vancouver begins at 8 p.m.

At the district's meeting,
council will discuss
availability of staff reports
and agenda packages, land
matters and group homes.
The meeting gets underway
at 8 p.m.

Elko Kroon replaces Ald.
Rod Clark at North Van Ci-
ty, while in West Vancouver
all three incumbent aldermen
were returned.
