Venice Bakery to move out

North Vancouver is toast.

The facility will shut down later this
year Ina move by its parent company to
consolidate operations at a new $12 mil-
lion plant in Langley, said Larry Palko,
senior. vice-president of finance ’ with
Canada Bread Co, Ltd, (the parent com:
pany of McGavins Foods Ltd.)

; No firm date has been set for the
local: plant closure, but Palko said it
: would likely be some time in November,
