DUE TO the long spell of local dry weather, North Vancouver City Fire Department is cancelling the open burning of paper and garden refuse Oct. 31, Nov. 1, Nov. 7 and Nov.38 : ~The fire department usually allows the open burning by residents _ without permits during the two-upcoming weekends.
