Tuesday night’s meeting the
School Board Chairmman
stated tht the Board in future
would only receive questions
relevant to matters raised in
that evening's agenda,

their concerns to all elected
trustees at the one time. The
alternative, lobbying and
contacting each individual

trustee can be difficult and
very time consuming.

All parents and taxpayers
have a right to ratse
questions at any time and
now the School Board is
attempting to restrict the
topics during the mere five

minutes they con-
descendingly allot to the
public who attend their
meetings.

When will the School

Board realise that it is there
to serve the taxpayer and is
paid by the taxpayers. My
concern is also that in the
past far too many decisions
regarding education have
been made behind closed
doors, here in North Van-
couver.
