By lan Nobie News Reporter VANCOUVER Shipyards workers at the company’s Pemberton site have accepted a mediator’s offer on a contract that extends to Dec. 31, 1999. The union voted 268-66 Monday ‘n favor of the retroactive deal after defeating a slighdy less generous pack- age 206-157 in January. Monday’s vote marked the fifth time union members had been polled on a potential deal with their employer.
