weekend in Victoria. She
was competing in her tinal
school race before return-
ing to Australia in January
following her family’s owo-
year stay here.

circuit to beat his closest
rival in the field of 270
runners by a convincing
15 seconds. Earlier this
season, he won each
North Shore juvenile race
plus the B.C. qualification
meet.
