Hosted by The Royal Van- couver Yacht Club, 125 boats sponsored by 124 companies set sail Saturday, Aug. 21, to raise funds for The Easter Seal Society, ‘who in turn help our province's disabled children.. The society provides services such as Easter Seal Buses, Patient Care Grants, Easter Seal Houses, Child Development Centres as well as Easter Seal Camps to families with special needs children. What makes the Heineken Cup unique is the fact that it brings the boating and corporate com- munities together for the common cause of supporting The Easter Seal Society. After an afternoon of sailing, boaters and corporate sponsors came ashore to enjoy a salmon barbecue at Hastings Mill Park (adjacent to The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, Jericho) where over 5,250 dinners were served. Anyone interested in getting on board for next year please call Anne Smith at the Easter Seal Society Office, (873-1865).
