Following last season with the Blues, Beris goes to a Greek team that finished second in its division last year and regularly draws 500 Spectators to practices; 80,000 were on hand to watch the league final in May. Growing up with soccer when his father would arrange for Ca- nadian tours of Greek soccer teams, Beris dreamed of one day becoming a professional player.
