Avoid overheating .

A COMMON problem with sum-
mer driving is engine overheating.

Many overheating problens,
hawever, can be solved by > the
driver. Uf) your engine coolant
temperature light or gauge shows
an overheat condition or you sec,
smell or hear «.aping steam, the
engine is in an overheated condi-
tion.

Continued operation of — the
engine, even for. a short time,
could sesult in. a. fire or severe
engine damage.

According to engine specialists?
you Shouldn't take chances with an
overheated engine. If you have
reason (o suspect there is a serious

the car, and as soon as it's safe ta:
do so, turn off the engine and get
out of the car. :
