BY ROBEAT GALSTER Contributing Writer WITH the provincial elec- tion less than a week away voters in West Vancouver’s Dundarave area are far from reaching a consensus on their voting preferences. The area straddles the West Vancouver-Garibaldi and West Vancouver-Capilano ridings — both of which elected Liberals in the last provincial election. Gordon Gray said he is happy with the status quo and plans to vote for the Liberals. He says “common sense” played the biggest role in his decision. *.- Shafik Keshavjee echoes the sentiment. He'll vote Liberal. He quotes * the province’s growing debt as a major con¢ern. “It’s not so much that I love the Libera) Party,” said Keshavjee. “But 1 ‘+ don’t think there's a choice.” Meanwhile the ruling New Democrats also found their support at the beachside locale. Habib Sariolghalam said Glen Clark’s performance in the ‘ récently televised leaders’ _. debate helped make up his mind. “He (Glen Clark) said he will help about. education, ‘abort health and he’s not going to cut anything,” said Sariolghalam. “At my age it’s important to be interested in health,” he added. .
