Health forum scheduled

THE NORTH Shore Mental
Health Planning Committee
is sponsoring a consultation
forum to provide the com-
munity with an opportunity
to speak out on the provi-
sion of mental health  ser-
vices on the North Shore.
The objectives of the forum are
ta:
e@ develop a shared vision of what
a mentally healthy community i
@ construct a sei of principles to
guide the development of a model
for mental health services on the
North Shore;
@ identify specific mental health
services the community wants;
@ develop information on avail-

health issues can be improved.

Phe kesnote speaker will be Dr.
Martin Collis from the University
of Victoria.

He will be speaking on the topic
of the community working
together in partnership to improve
the mental health delivery system.

The forum will be held on
Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to
p.m. at Capilano College, 2055
Purcell Way, North Vancouver,
and is open to all members of the
North Shore community.
