and Keith Wales. The pair origi-
nally co-founded Basie Software
group in 1979 and went on to
create the EasyWriter I] word
processing package and the ACC-
PAC accounting package.

Some industry watchers antici-
pate that portable pen computer
sales will reach over three million
units three years from now.

On Apri! 16, Francis announced
in San Francisco the release of its
Numero financial software
package.

The software is designed to run
with PenPoint, an operating
