Our readers have responded fantastically to our request for food .

hamper donations to help needy families in North and West Van-
couver.

This past year has been especially hard on many North Shore
people; the N.V. Christmas Bureau and the W.V. Santa Claus
fund received applications for assistance from more than 600
families.

Because of the extreme need in our community your donations
this year will be appreciated more than ever.

Monetary donations

Because it is so close to Christmas, we will be unable to process
any more food donations. If you still want to make a donation,

your monetary contributions will be put to good use to purchase
food certificates.
