the end. la her retirement years, Mary
enjoyed travelling. She is survived by her
children, Ted Conover. Patricia Fisher
and joyce Silva, and their spouses;
seven grandchildren, Chris, Coffeen,
Keltie, Leslie, Natasha, Seain and Todd,
She afso leaves four sisters, Ada Tipton,
Peggy Webb, Janet Cormack and Louise
Vallance, and one brother, Bob Cormack:
as well as numerous nieces, nephews
and dear friends. She will be missed,

DEARING - Enid Mae, passed away on
March 10, 1994 after a long struggle
with cancer. She was the dearly loved
sister of ina MacKirdy and Elinor
Verkerk and her husband David; friend
of Michael McCahill; also the beloved
aunt of six nieces and nephews and
their eleven children. Enid helped
establish and develop the Notth Van-
couver District Municipal Public Libsary,
serving as ils first Chief Librarian from
1964 until her retirement in 1992.
There will be a celebration of her tife on
Sunday, March 20 at 2 p.m. in High-
lands linited Church at 3255 Edgemont
Boulevard. A reception will follow in the
