Starting at $8,995, the two-door, front-wheel-drive Shadow S and Sundance S are surprisingly well-equipred for under 9000 dollars. Both cars have Chrysler's sturdy 2.2 fitre, frel-injected, sinule overhead cam four cylinder engine with 93 horsepower. This is more horsepower than niany cars in this e Shadow S price range. enough to provide adequate acceleration and passing power, even with passengers and luggage on board. A five speed manual transmis- sion is offered as standard equip- ment while a three speed automatic with lack-up torque converter is optional.
