Fined for hit and run accident

A Vancouver youth who
hit a parked car while trying
to park his vehicle and then
ran off, pleaded guilty in

North Vancouver Provincial

Court, Wednesday, to failing

to stop at the scene of an
accident.

John Dolan was charged
April 21 after police
discovered Dolan and a
companion near the scene of
the accident in which there
was a total of $1000 damage.

The court was told Dolan
had never had a driver's

license, and several beer
were found in the car he was
driving.

Judge John Layton fined
him $50 and said he would
recommend Dolan not be
given a licence for a year.
