of C.A. “Bert” Fleming who
is running as an Indepedent
in West Vancouver-Howe
Sound.

A West Van businessman,
Fleming has lived and work-

ed in the riding for some 40
years. Involved in a wide
range of community ac-
tivities over that period, he is
best known as president of
the Central Ratepayers
Association.

He has built a reputation

reef of the property tax
burden on homeowners — a
theme which he continues to
develop in his latest cam-
paign for a Legislature seat.
At the municipal level he
was defeated last November
in a bid to unseat third-term

as a relentless fighter for the Mayor Derrick Humphreys.

eliminated. But the addition of the two after
noon 257 Horseshoe Bay Express tops
offsets this.

tips directly to Downtown Vancouver, as
well as two afternoon peak penod tnps from
Downtown, eluminating the need to transfer
at Park Royal.

This new service replaces the West Bay
route “The new route will not continue into
West Bay trom Manne and 25th. However,
the area west of Dundarave will still be ser
iced by the 253 CYPRESS PARK and the
250 HORSESHOR BAY, every 15 minutes
duning morning peak penods, every 30
minutes dunny the day and aftemoon peak
penods, and every 60 minutes in the evening

Between Downtown Vancouver and
West Bay, peak service will be approximately
every LS minutes
