Hollyburn serves tennis ace a stylish sendoff

DICK Hunter gives new meaning ‘o the phrase “Tenms anvone?” He's a fiving legend to most
evervene around the North Shore, but this is especially true among members of West
Vancouver’s Hollvburn Country Club, For close to 30 vears new, he has been an active mem-
ber on and off the courts: Organizing teams tournaments was always his specialty and every
summer, his Hunter Cup mised-doubles tourney always brought out the best. Friday, fan. 28
was his night to be honoured as club members, friends and family gathered at the indoor
courts to party Dick Hunter: style. Phere was lots of stories, jokes and a rousing round of “Oh
Dear, What Can the Matter Be.” Congratulations to the entire Hunter nimily and especialiv

He’s one of Hollyburn's favourite characters. Vick
Turner's legendary tennis tourneys have gained him
many friends over the years, but this night it was his turn
to be roasted and toasted.
