and tinkering have fuelled the
school’s’ success. His livelihood
and hobbies go hand-in-hand.

In his spare time Briton devel-
oped the first chainless

instructional vehicles. He’s called
it ‘‘Twinsteer.””

He and Josie both said that
other driving schools are moving
away. from -using dual- control
vehicles because of economic con-
ditions.

The Britons spend some of their
spare time riding around town in
some of their collected curs, such
as a 1911 Overland, a -1941
Packard or their 1971 Lemans
convertible.
