Figure eights add up to court charge

A North Vancouver man
who was alleged to have
been making figure eights in
the Westlynn Mail parking
lot, with the lights of his car
turned off, pleaded guilty
Wednesday to driving with a
blood alcohol level over .08.

Joel Farrell, aged 19, of
1344 Frederick Road, ap-
peared in North Vancouver
Provincial Court, after being

charged on January 9.

that a police officer ob-
served the car Farrell was
driving .leaving the parking
lot of the 7-11 store at the
intersection of Lynn Valley
Road and Mountain
Highway at about 12:30a.m.
