Blodgett describes her work as three-dimensional, whimsical folk art which she creates through the use of plywood, acrylic paint and recycled materials. Blodgett, who recently moved here from Torento, is the Haitian-born daughter of an ftalian father and French mother whose family settied in Netherlands Antiiles (near Venezuela). She was raised on the islands of Curacao and Bonaire. The lively, self-taught artist has had her works go to such eastern juminaries as Mila Mulroney, Peter Bronfman ana Murray Koffler. But Blodgett said her pieces are collected by a wide range of people. ‘Kids love them because they are so bright and funny,’’ said Blodgett. ‘‘Weicome to Vancouver" is Slodgett's artistic impression of Vancouver.
