On January 11, 1979, the Government announced a plan to
distribute five free shares of the British Columbia Resources In-
vestment Corporation. Those aged 16 and above and were born before
the 15th of June, 1963, must apply themselves. You must have residcd

in British Columbia for one ycar, and should bring two of the following
identifications:

1. B.C. Drivers’ Licence
2. B.C. Medical Services or Pharmacare Card.
3. Social Insurance Card.

You must be a Canadian Citizen or have applied for Canadian
Citizenship.

Children including those under onc ycar of age are cligible too.
In the case of children under one ycar age. they must have been
born in British Columbia, and have resided tn the province up to the
dato of purchase

The mother or legal custodian applics on behalf of a child. This
applies to all children born after tho 15th of June 1963 and those under

one year of age. In order to claim, the mother must bring one of the
following identifications:

1. Medical Card showing name of child on it.
2. Canadian Birth C ato of the child.
3. Canadian Citizenship Certificate of the child.

A legal custodian or guardian other than the mother must bring
proof of custodianship auch aa a court order granting custody.

The shares can be subscribed for free between March 15 and
Jaume 15, 1979. During this period all cligible residents must fo to the

credit unton in order to apply for your shares in the British umbia
Resources Lovestment Corporation.
