THE AUDIENCE could certainly have been larger, but Big Miller lived 1 up
to-his huge reputation at his Plazazz opening night Wednesday. The large
blues and jazz performer has been in music for most:of his 60. years and
puts on a great show. He’s been at the North Shore night spot all week and
will be the lead in for the Smothers Brothers who start their run Monday
night. 7

Concerto for two horns with

7:30 p.m. at Centennial
Theatre (23rd and Lonsdale).

Ensemble who have just cap-
tured first place in the Surrey
Jazz Festival. Anyone not

strings program offered in
the North Vancouver schools
