As in past years, the race ts a family event open to cruising sailboats only. No spinnakers or bloopers, please. The course: Same as last year, from the starting line at Dundarave Pier ta a red marker (leave to port) set 1/2 mile WSW off Point Atkinson Light house; then to the Point Grey Bell Buoy (leave to port); then to a red marker 0.7 miles south of the centre channel marker (leave to starboard), finishing at the Committee Boat off Kitsilano Yacht Club. The Committee Boat Will conduct the start at 10:00 a.m. All entrants must report to the Committee Boat prior to the start. Boats finishing the race must sail close by the Committee Boat, which will be anchored % mile NW off the Kitsilano Yacht Club. The Finish . The race will end officially at 1500 hours. Any boats not across the finish line by that time should proceed directly to Granville Island market for transportation to Boaters’ Village for ceremonies, refreshments, and food.
