NORTH VANCOUVER‘
RCMP is still looking for a
teenaged flasher who expos-
ed himself to two youngsters
and their baby-sitter Mon-
day afternoojy after the
force’s first suspect turned
out to be a shop-lifter.

The youth, approximately
16 years of age according to
police, exposed himself to
the children and their 21-
year-old babysitter just after
3:30 p.m. Monday on the
playground at Norgate
Elementary School.

The teenager fled on a
blue BMX-style bicycle after
the incident and has so far
not been found by police.

Acting on the description
given them, police found a
suspect in the neighborhood.
The youth startled police by

peeling off his shorts when
they confronted him, but he
was wearing another pair
underneath and confessed to
having stolen the pair he
gave to police.

The flashing incident is
the third in as many weeks.
