OBVIOUSLY ENJOYING the exerci se-when-you-like program at the North Van- couver Recreation Centre, these women warm-up to the beat. A fitness program which stresses flexibility and allows participants to attend any and as many classes as they like has been an- nounced by the North Vancouver Recreation Centre. The program, which already involves 700 people, allows participants to choose from as many as four classes a day on weekdays and one on Saturday's. After paying $25 a quarter, a person can attend as many as 21 classes a week. The recreation centre also offers special classes for ladies only and early morning classes (6:30 a.m.). The more vigorous mixed fitness program includes an outdoor warm up run prior to the exercise session. Musical accompaniment is stressed as an important part of all the exercise sessions and a and a variety of music is used to amke the exercises more rhythmical and en- joyable.
