Whistler Mountaia reported a total of 57 centimeters of pew snow during one 36 hour period while adjacent Blackcomb Mountain received 65 centimetres. According to Whistler Mountain marketing director John Creelman, the heavy snowfall has resulted in excellent snow conditions to the valley floor. “The new snow,” said Creelman, “insures that Christmas fun-seekers will have the best skiing ever here at Whistler.” Blackcomb Mountain ski area manager Hugh Smythe was just as enthusiastic over the big snow dump. “The conditions are better now than at any time last year,” said Smythe. “All our lifts are open and we are skiing to the valley floor as well.” More than 2,500 skiers can be accommodated . According to a Whistler Resort Association spokesman, reservations are too heavy for the week between Christmas and New Year. Persons interested in pre- Christmas or post-New Year’s bookings should contact the Resort Association's central reservations office by calling (604) 932-4222. 150 cen- OSS Beoggn80009 990000000000 B7 - Sunda ry News, December com 20, 1981 OO DADA DARA DAR AAI R AAD AR ADA DO UALITY USED VEHICLES FROM YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD DEALER 1980 1980 PONTIAC SUNBIRD PLYMOUTH HORIZON 6 cyl., A.T.P.S.,P.B., R. 4 cyi., Automatic Attractive, economical car Frontwheeli Drive $7595. $5995. 1977 DA CIVIC CHEVY VEGA W 4cyl., A.T.P.S., Radio Economical & convenient $3295."
