Strive for grace
from within us

CURRENTLY, NEPTUNE, in the
zodiacal sign of Capricorn, is the
outermost planet in our solar
system.

Until 1999 the orbit of Pluto
around the sun will fie within
Neptune’s orbit. The question
arises, what might this transposi-
tion of the outermost planets,
focal points of our innermost
consciousness, signify?

With Neptune now the farthest
planet from the sun, it presently
seems that problematic issues rul-
ed by Weptune are out of our
reach, apparentiy beyond our orb
of influence and control.

Oil holds the world hostage,
provoking war on the battlefield
and conflict in the global
economy. Drug cartels flourish
unimpeded by international law-
enforcement agencies.

There are, of course, perfectly
understandable reasons for this.

The energy crisis is drastic. Oil
spills and eco-terrorism plague the
seas. Pluto is, after all, in Scor-
pio, so industrial polluticoa of
eceans continues unabated

or sot plutonium con-
tinues to be shipped.

Freak frogs spark ecological
fears. Female snails with penises
create further alarin. You've read

And in the midst of these dire
circumstances is the epitome of
Neptunian self-deception: psychic
numbing.

Resolutions of many of these
Neptunian-ruled dilemmas will
not arise before the tum of the
century, when Pluto, in Sagit-
tarius, again resumes its “‘nor-
mai’’ position as the outermost

Fortunately, since i942, these
great movers and shakers have
been in harmonious aspect, repre-
senting an evolutionary process by
which we continually strive to
achieve ultimate perfection.

There is tremendous opportusi-
ty for spiritual advancement in
world civilization. There is an
ouipouring of grace upon this
earth (from within).

We are called to connect with
and express universal love (Nep-
tune) with power, and to utilize
fully and creatively the awesome
plutcaian potentials which science
has/is making available.

Many, of course, are acting in

defiance of the fact that we are all
part of a single system.

Our “‘leaders,”” whether they be
Harcourt, Mulroney, Clinton,
Major or Yeltsin, seem to have to
be part sage, part cheerleader, fa-
ther or mother figure ... inspira-
tional, comforting, wise. That’s
not easy.

We can no longer escape from
each other’s ignorance.
