PATIENT, SENSITIVE TUTORS are wanted to assist an instructor with night classes in- volving reading, writing and asser- tiveness training. The volunteer should have an understanding of the mentally handicapped. Hours are 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Tues- day or Thursday for a 10-week iod period. READING AND LANGUAGE TUTORS to work with children (aged six to 13) with learning pro- blems. One hour a day for two days a week. Excellent training provided. DRIVER urgently needed for a person receiving treatment in Van- couver General Hospital on Mon- day, Wednesday and Friday after- noons. Transportation has been arranged to the hospital but a return drive to Lynn Valicy area at 4:30 p.m. on any one of these days would be greatly appreciated. CLASS IV DRIVERS or persons willing to take preliminary test (agency will pay for training) are needed for a Keep Well program. Volunteer will also accompany seniors on walks. ORGANIZED CHEERFUL team captain needed by a meal delivery service to work from home once every six weeks. Duties include making up route sheets for drivers _and tally sheets’ for the week. This position ‘would suit a retired person. GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS? A seniors health clinic wants registration clerks to register people as they come into the clinic. If you enjoy people and paper work and are available Monday 10 a.m. to noon or Wednesday $ to 11:30 a.m. you will enjoy this position.
