Brewers stir up victory

THE NORTH Shore Brewers
hockey club captured the Van-
couver Adult Hockey Association
(VAHA) division one playoff title
by defeating Arbutus Winter Club
in their recent best-of-five final.
After losing the final’s first two

games, the Brewers stormed back
with three straight wins to clinch
top honors.

Backed by the outstanding
goaltending of Garth Tubbman,
the Brewers defeated the Van-
couver club 4-2, 3-1 and 4-3.
