an unoccupied North
Vancouver residence and
lighting a fire on the
wooden floor.

-Michael Leo Battle, 36,
of no fixed address was

arrested after he was
spotted by a security
guard in the unfinished
residence in the 1500
block Nancy Greene
Way.

Police subsequently
found tie door had been
forced and a hole was
burnt in the floor. Ap-
parently Battle had built
the fire to keep warm.

The man faces charges
of breaking and entering
and mischief.

criminal charges in con-
nection with an April 10
to June 11 illegal shopp-
ing and travel bonanza
that netted everything
from meats to airline
tickets to limousine trips.
