RINGETTE BC has awarded
the position of Head Coach
of the National Belle (17
years and under) team to
Gordon Scott of the North
West Vancouver Ringette
Association. He, inturn, ap-
pointed Ron Bennett as his
Assistant Coach. Both men
come very well qualified with
many years of ringette behind
them. Gordon was one of the

founders of the North West
Van Ringette seven years ago
and has been coaching and
tefereeing each year since.

On the Provincial level, he
has held the positions of
Vice-Pres., Pres. and Past
Pres. for a total of six years.
Coaching the National Belle
Team has always been a goal
for Gordon.

Ron Bennett has spent
many years coaching hockey
in Winnipeg, but turned to
ringette when he moved here
five years ago. Ron has
coached out of North West
Van for four years, taking a
break this year to concentrate
on the National Team.
