The other game saw the Colts down Squamish Titans 25-0. Doug MclIsaac, Mark Paat and Ron Gervan each notched a T.D. in the winning cause. The Colts Saints North, Shore Sanitherm Saints ran up against a skillful and experienced Germania side in Division 2A Metro Soccer on the weekend, but hung on for a 2-1 win leaving the locals still undefeated in league Cap ta Cap College opened their league schedule on the weekend with a win and draw against their perennial cross-town rival from Vancouver Community College. Captain Rob Gambron of the locals scored on a penalty mid-way through the second half on Saturday to give his team a 1-1 draw. VCC had taken a first half lead and almost pulled off the win late in the game. On Sunday at home, VCC came out strong atacking the home town continually, with Graham Coates making constant saves to keep his team tn the gamc. Kurt Larson ran for one T.D. and threw for two with Steven Horvath and Andrew Horembala on the receiving end. Defensively, strong performances were given by Brian Platts and David Volberg who pulled in two interceptions. The Minor Division saw the veteran Browns taking advantage of the newly formed Spartan team. It was the Phillip Mitchell show as he rambled for four T.D.’s. Other T.D.’s were by Justine Beddal, David George and a 50 yard interception return by Ralph Essinger. The other game had _ the Squamish Roughriders blanking the Lions 8-0. In flagball the Huskies, under the leadership of Beau Payne defeated the Knights 28-0. Payne threw two T.D passes to Robin Mahood, one T.D. pass to Josh Chernov, and ran for one himself. The Rockets overwhelmed the Panthers 41-0. Greg Meldrum led the way with three T.D.’s. Other scorers Were Chris Hancock, Scott Hodges and Tania Haladner. ndefeated play.
