KYPRIAKI extended
its winning streak to
three games in Division
One of the Vancouver
Metro soccer league on
Sunday.

Playing at Kilmer Park,
the North Vancouver squad
defeated the +previously-
unbeaten West Vancouver
Rovers 5-2 mostly because of
a four goal effort from Dave
Deeming.

West Vancouver opened
the scoring at the 5 minute
mark with a perfect shot off
the post from Adrian Cole.

. But Deeming took over

play, assisted by Henry
Somers and Bill Holdyk. He
scored again four minutes
later on a pass from Ron
Wilson and Rob Boyd. His
third goal was assisted by
Wilson and Don Ashby and
the fourth, with 8 minutes to
go, came from passes by
Ashby ahd Jim Boothroyd.
Kypriaki pressed hard in
the second half but only
Boothroyd was able to beat
the West Van goalie.
Offensively, Deeming and
Somers stood out for
Kypriaki, while Boothroyd
and Paul Woodward were
the best defensive players on
