through the garden?
How about a stroll through
eight of them?

Vhe ith annual North
Shore Garden Tour takes
plaice on July 25 — when
garden enthusiasts will be
able to enjoy some of the
most beautiful gardens on
this side of Burrard Inlet.
Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
they'll travel from the
Caulfeild area of West
Vancouver to Lynn Valley in

share their expertise.

The tour is the culmination
of the North Shore Gardens
Contest, which takes place
every spring, and offers
recognition to residents
who, through their gardens,
have contributed to
community — improvement
and beautification. The
contest was launched in
1986 as a “one-time” event,
to attract and impress visitors
in Vancouver for Expo.
These days, no North Shore
garden enthusiast could
imagine a summer without
the competition.
