Before Judge J.D. Layica in North Vancouver p:ovincial court on April 18: Greg Dunn received a condi- tional discharge and was placed on probation for one year 2iter the 28-year-old North Vanccuver man pleaded guilty to assaulding a male in the District of North Vancouver on Sept. 29, 1988. Before Judge J.K. Shaw iz North Vancouver provincial court on April 18: Tim Donald Hemmings received a suspended sentence and was placed on probation for 18 months after the 18-year-old North Van- couver man was found guilty of Possession of stolen property. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court on April 18: Brock Norwich was fined $100 after the 19-year-old North Van- couver man was found guilty of possessing marijuana in connection with an April 6, 1988 incident. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court on April 17: Bhim Chandra Raj was fined $100 and placed on probation for three months after the 20-year-old Burnaby man pleaded guilty to breaking into a British Properties home. He was also ordered to pay $14 in compensation to the victim. ~* Christopher Dean Connell was fined $400 after the 25-year-old Coquitlam man pleaded guilty to driving while prohibited in connec- tion with a Nov. 28, 1988 incident on Marine Drive in West Van- couver. He also had his driver’s licence suspended for a further six mon- ths Before Judge J.D. Shaw in North Vancouver provincial court on April 17: Kurt Glode received a suspended sentence and was placed on proba- tion for one year after the 27- year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to 2a Feb. 26 mischief charge in which Glode struck a canoe, wooden bear statue and telephone, the property of a North Vancouver woman, with a hammer. Before Judge J.B. Peradis in North Vancouver provincial court on March 1; Yvan Simon Rodrique was fined $500 after the 30-year-old Squamish man pleaded guilty to theft under $1,000 in connection with a Dec. 29, 1988 theft of a lady's purse. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court on Jan. 3: Graeme Ray Haynes was fined $400 after the 21-year-old Van- couver man pleaded guilty to fail- ing to give his name to a police of- ficer, ot Terry Bilow was fined $50 after the 36-year-old Burnaby man pleaded guilty to failing to return a chinook salrnon to the Capilano River in connection with a Sept. 4, 1988 incident.
