Corsiatto and Stainsby have been on the road for 24 years and {9 years respectively. In that time, they’ve seen a lot of changes in their working environment: ‘The traffic has probably tripled,”’ says Stainsby, and Corsiatto notes that other drivers on the road are much more aggressive and demanding than they were when he first started the job. On‘a positive note, though, one thing that hasn't changed are the passengers. ‘I don't think the people have changed all that much,’” said Stainsby. “Everyone’s happy to be here."’ Stainsby, a West Vancouver native, said that many of his pas- sengers tell him about job oppor- tunities passed up in Toronto because they refuse to leave their home on the North Shore. “We have some of the best pas- sengers in the Lower Mainland,” agreed Corsiatto. ‘‘West Van- Not all family owned funeral homes are gone!
