Dear Editor: With all the needs that are evident in our society, and especially glaring when con- trasted with the emphasis on a materialistic celebration of Christmas, I found it a shame that you would devote so much of your Paper space to promote the occult practices of psychics, Sun., Dec. 8. Two thousand years apo Jesus Christ was humbly born into this world with a message of good news for all who would listen and receive it. I did find it very sad that there seems to be so little in- candidates mecting which had to be cancelled because no one showed up. Our children are our future and education is one of our most important issues. 1 really hope when the District elections. are held next year the voters will show a bit more concern; after all we only have one chance with our children. and our personal lives more and more out of balance.
