There were the hundreds of make shift confessionals made out of simple boxes, occupied by the priests pressed into service for the thousands who wanted to have confessions heard. There were poignant scenes: A woman who wept as she was blessed by a priest; the A Christian action husky, young native man who smiled and embraced his wife as he emerged from confessing his sins.
