Tuesday, June 13: When you look
good, you feel better. That's the
premise of the Look Good — Feel
Better program for cancer patients.
The Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and
Fragrance Foundation and the
Canadian Cancer Society (CCS)
have joined together to offer free
workshops (the second and fourth
Tuesdays of every month) at the
CCS's Vancouver Lodge, 575 W.
10th Ave., Vancouver. Makeup and
skincare, scarf tying and wigs will be
covered in this two-hour workshop,
7-9 p.m., in the Activity Room. Pre-
register by calling 879-9131.

Sunday, June 18: Who says fash-
ion’s a drag? The Closet Doors per-
formance fashion event is a
fundraiser that merges fashion,
music, drama and dance to present
the best of “drag haute couture.”
Vancouver's top actors, dancers and
vocalists show off outrageous fash-
ion at the Norman Rothstein Theatre,
4lst and Oak, Vancouver. Doors
open at 7 p.m.; show starts, 8 p.m.
Tickets, $15, available by phoning
254-0292, Proceeds to the Pacific
AIDS Resource Centre.
