EASILY ONE of the most
elegant and impressive
schools on the North Shore,
Ridgeway school was built
to accommodate the fast-
growing population of the
City of North Vancouver.

It was also the replacement
school for the first school on the
North Shore, which had been built
for the Village of Moodyville.

The official opeuing of the orig-
inal portion of Ridgeway School
took place on April 8, 1912, and
was presided over by the Hon.
Henry Esson Young, minister of
education. i
