Why is it that every time some poor country has a problem the United States uses the situation as an excuse to show off its forces and its new high-tech military might? Canadians always join in as a kind jesture to maintain our standing in the modern world. But why coulda’t we just sit a few of these events out? I’m sure our 900 troops in Somalia wouldn’t be missed, because it seems the Americans have everything under control. But in today’s world, there will be many more problems, some better, some worse, and who’s so eager to fight? Well, who else, but our southern neighbors. But should we really be in Somalia?
