TWO FLY-PASTS by 40 vintage
and modern air transports, a ma-
jor international airshow and an
international aerospace trade show
are highlights of the Expo 86
specialized period on aviation run-
ning until Aug. 10.

AIR FAIR 86, Aug. 4-10, is the
first of an on-going aviation in-
dustry exhibition olanned for B.C.
The four industry-only days prior
to the Abbotsford Airshow and the
three public days during the air-
show will feature participation py
leading aircraft’ manufacturers
such as Boving, McDonnell
‘Douglas and Lockheed.

consists of fly-pasts of the Expo
site, Canada Pavilion and Van-
couver, Aug. 4 and 7,

The event will feature 40 aircraft
spanning the historical develop-
ment of air transport from the ear-
ly era to the modern jet age.

The Abbotsford Airshow, Aug.
8-10, will feature the largest mili-
tary air demonstration team show
ever assembled. A total of 38 air-
craft will take part including the
Canadian Armed Forces
Snowbirds and the U.S. Navy Blue
Angels.
