Spring fair sprouts

THE ALPINE Garden Club
of B.C. is proud to hold tts
annual Spring Plant Fair at
the Wilham = GOnitfin  Com-
munity Center at 851 Queens
Avenue in North Vancouver.
The Fair, being held from
2 p.m. - § p.m. on Sunday,
April 15, will bring to the
public a wide range of choice
plants grown by members.
The range of plants will in-

clude a wide selection of easy
to prow alpines, aSiatic
Primulas, many perennials,
dwarf shrubs, woodland and
native plants as well as hybrid
and species Rhododendrons,
a fine choice of herbs,
bulbous plants and ground
covers. There will also be a
selection of seed collected by
members both local and
overseas and all at reasonable

prices. 7

There will also be
knowlegeable members on
hand to answer the public’s
questions.

Everyone is welcome to
come and enjoy this unique
Gardening Event. Proceeds
from the sale and other club
events help support educa-
tional scholarships in the
various

field of horticulture,

pubhc gardens in B.C., and
the decimination of informa-
tion to the public.
