Representatives of the Socie- ty met with trustees Monday nipht in an incamera session. The ‘‘secret’’ meeting had been arranged prior to the start of the public mecting; however, trustee Norm Alban requested that the meeting take place in public. **We don’t normally deal with those items in a private meeting ... The board voted to hold the meeting in public, but when the Society said they were unwilling at the Monday meeting to discuss the issue in public, the board reversed its decision. Society representative John Humphries told the board, that although his group was ‘‘perfectly will- ing’’ to meet in a public forum, it was not prepared to do so until the following mecting. ‘ Earlier, the West Van- couver School Board had written the Society explaining that its current policies con- cerning rentals placed private schools at the bottom of the list for school allocation.
