survey last week by the
Public -Opinion Research
Division of the North Shore
News.

' A geographically balanced
“sample of 392' North: Shore
households from Deep Cove
to Horseshoe Bay were
asked: “Are you for or
* against North Shore stores
opening on Sunday?”

The overall North Shore

answer was:

A sharp difference bet-—
ween North Van and West
Van, however, was shown in
the following breakdown by
individual municipalities:

By contrast, in Ambleside
and Dundarave 45% were
‘against,” 22% “for”, and a
possibly significant 33%
“undecidéd.”
