wicked mix of snowmo-
bile stunt-riding and
motocross-type action
in a character based

racer,

If you never thought of
snowmobiling as an “Xtreme”
sport, you'll be pleased know

that *SnoCross”
not only real, it’s
hyper-hyper-
balized in this
superb video game.
Needless to say,
this ain’t no fide
jolly jaunt through
a winter wonder-
land oon your
uncle’s farm in
Winnipeg. This is a
demonic December
rally, a mad dash
around a vaguely established
circuit, a wide open, balls-to-
the wall race in some of the
most uninviting yet exhifarat-

ing environments imaginable.
This is Xtreme racing.

roninent yet it dumps
said attentiveness at
key points in the ride
when things like grav-
ity or mis-directed

otherwise spoil major

There’s some big air
in Sled Storm, and

you just know there's going to
be big stunts.
The stunt: are amazing,
fluid and hands-down spanky.

ly, but in Sled Scerm, it's some-
thing to shoot for without the
stupid threat of a broken neck
looming over your shoulder.
