Sunday, December 13, 1992 - North Shore News - 5 S r | Mall seeks rent THE PARK Royal Shopping Centre has filed a suit against the financiaily troubled Woodward's department store chain secking $421,000 in unpaid reat from its West Vancouver outlet. Park Royal director Rick Amantea said Friday that the suit was filed in B.C. Supreme Court last week. “Some of it has been outstanding for quite some time, and some of it is recent. We're like any other developer; we're making sure our interests are protected,’’ said Amantea. Woodward’s recently completed a large expansion of its Park Royal store. Centre sold MARATHON REALTY Co. Ltd. has sold the Lynn Valiey Centre shopping mall for an undisclosed sum. A spokesman for Penreal Advisor Ltd., who asked not to be named, said Marathon sold the North Vancouver shopping centre to an unnamed Canadian pension fund, effective Dec. 1.
